Sunday kids lessons at Coast use a curriculum and teaching style called Godly Play. This style of teaching focuses on storytelling and invites children to enter into the story and to ask questions and engage wonder. Rather than rote learning or memorization, it is our hope that kids will personally interact with the Holy Spirit and respond in their own way to what the Spirit is working in their hearts as they learn to be disciples of Jesus.

 It is also important to us to be sensitive to the unique needs of each of our children and make sure that we do our best to be flexible and to make our time together on Sundays work for each child. We are also looking for ways to support each other as families and to learn to love each other’s children together outside of the Sunday service.
