Tyler Maskiewicz

Worship Leader

Tyler is our Worship Leader and has served at Coast since 2022. As a San Diego native and current resident of the Clairemont neighborhood, Tyler is passionate about Coast's involvement in the Clairemont community and actually discovered Coast through a Google Maps search shortly after moving into the neighborhood! Tyler's history of participating in musical worship dates back to his middle school years playing electric guitar in his youth group, but he would say his true passion for worship developed on beaches and in parking garages in San Diego, where unscripted moments of worship have brought about some of his deepest experiences of God's presence. To continue to unite his love for the neighborhood and love of worship, he and his wife constructed a "Worship Barn" in their backyard as a place to host neighbors, investigate innovative types of ministry gatherings, and pursue more of those unscripted worship moments with his community. Outside of Coast, Tyler works in business operations at Point Loma Nazarene University and loves spending time outdoors with his wife, playing with his son, and roasting and brewing craft coffee for his friends and neighbors.
